I still find the concept of being marked “other” to the extent that every part of the ecosystem hates you to be a somewhat unscientific concept (like how does the Severance work if it’s only applied topically?)

This story was short, but said everything that it wanted to say in that time period.

It was a nice quick read and a sweet story.

This book explored the “ancient advanced civilization” trope like Elder Race, but focused in on how the changes made for humanity to thrive were in fact the only way they could survive.

It was such a mistake to start this book in the evening! What I intended to be quick reading session turned into a binge as I read into the late hours.
