Thoughts:#

I initially bought the game at launch, but fell off really quick since I wasn’t drawn into the grind like I was with previous games. I eventually finished when I started playing with some friends who were able to make the experience fun.

Just finished low rank, and I’m still playing through high rank. I had fun playing with other people in multiplayer, and I do like the new monsters and armor sets, but I miss learning the map and exploring every nook and cranny (GU and Rise were my favorite (and first) MH games). The Seikret is super convenient in a number of ways, but maybe it makes the game too “easy”.

I enjoyed the story and learning about the new people in the Forbidden Lands, and I hope the new armor and weapons are cool enough to continue my way through high rank.
